Senator Dino Melaye representing Kogi West in the National Assembly is in big trouble.
Just this morning he was arrested by men of the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) at the International Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport Abuja while on his way to Morocco for an official assignment.
He was later released but trouble is not over for the controversial senator as more than 30 armed policemen stormed his residence in Abuja this afternoon to re-arrest him.
The senator revealed the latest onslaught against him on his twitter handle this afternoon.
”Over 30 heavily armed fierce looking mobile police men have just stormed My residence in Maitama, Abuja.
All roads leading to House has been condoned off, as heavy mobile police men blocked entry & exit of the road. They currently laid siege on in and around The house,” he tweeted.
The Kogi senator tweeted earlier: ”I have just been arrested at the international wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe airport on my way to Morocco for an official engagement sponsored by the Federal Govt after checking in.”
